This course by Ginger Unger, CCIM is designed for agents that are new to the commercial real estate leasing transaction. Agents will be able to understand how to market a commercial property for lease with the proper listing platforms. The agents will discover how to locate Tenants to represent on a commercial lease transaction as well as how to obtain commercial lease listings from Landlords/Investors. - How there are diverse types of commercial lease transactions are available to an agent? Where to obtain market data on commercial leasing. – 30 min
- The Skill sets that required to locate both Tenants and Landlords to represent on commercial lease transactions. – 30 min
- Break – 20 min
- Expectations that both Tenants and Landlords will have for their commercial agent when working a commercial lease transaction. What skill set and resources will you need to be successful. – 20 min
- Steps required to acquire a lease space for a tenant through the Landlord’s agent or going through the Landlord direct. – 20 min
- The agent will need to obtain further education to complete the Texas Realtors lease documents and ascertain which addendums are required on each lease transaction. – 20 min
- Expectations from Landlords from tenant reps on qualifying a tenant for their buildings. How do you obtain the information that the Landlord is seeking? Which forms will be a requirement for the lease application and the credit check of the tenant will be reviewed. Wrap up with a discussion on furthering their commercial real estate education. – 20 min

As owner of multiple investment properties, she brings practical, hands-on experience to her investment holdings practice. Ginger has many years of experience in tenant and landlord representation, commercial development, and market and financial analysis for investment properties and has also served as consultant to commercial real estate attorneys.Before she became a company owner, Ginger worked in the family’s construction business, developing residential and commercial properties such as townhomes, shopping centers, office parks, industrial warehouses, and hotels. In 2007, Ginger received the CCIM designation, which requires advanced study in financial and market analysis and extensive experience in the real estate field.
Ginger has authored and taught numerous classes on commercial and residential real estate to Texas agents, brokers, underwriters, and investors. She holds REEA’s Gold Standard Instructor Designation and the CREI certification.[/av_textblock]
