Candace “Candy” Cooke has been a real estate professional since 1983. She’s a Texas-licensed real estate broker who lists and sells properties in Central Texas and a certified general appraiser with experience valuing residential and commercial properties. Candy has managed and developed residential and commercial real estate and arbitrated tax protest cases. She contracted for several years with the State of Texas in assessing appraisal districts to determine school district funding.

Candy was in the first class of NAR’s Masters of Real Estate (MRE) program and is a strong believer in professional education. She’s now a prolific and enthusiastic educator who shares her knowledge and passion with both agents and appraisers in many forums, including at conferences, live-virtual classrooms, and her wildly popular Cooke’d Real Estate Facebook community group.

Ben Maxwell is the Education Director for Agent eLearning. For the last 5 years, Ben has been recruiting real estate experts, developing curriculum and managing day-to-day operations for both Agent and Appraiser eLearning. He recently became a father and enjoys spending time with his family, running, hunting and playing golf.

Hal Humphreys is a lifelong learner and educator. He is a practicing Certified Fraud Examiner and professional investigator. Hal is a CDEI certified instructor through IDECC. He writes, lectures, and is a self trained expert at open fire cooking.

Jim McLeod started his first technology company, InfoCode, the year he graduated college in 1991. InfoCode was formed to publish mapping and data analytics tools for the real estate industry. For almost 30 years, Jim has led a team of data analysts and developers who create longstanding value to their customers in both the private and public sectors.

While overseeing the day-to-day operations, he participates with startups and operations of other technology ventures. Storyboard EMP is a venture Jim started with his longtime friend Hal Humphreys. Jim and Hal saw a need for improving online real estate education and they are excited to bring Agent eLearning to market.

When we can’t find Jim at the office, he is probably at the tree farm, on a hike, in a kayak or trying to keep up with his 6 kids.
