Course Description
Texas real estate license holders have a responsibility to represent clients with competence, especially when a property includes a solar energy system. Solar panels, whether owned or leased, introduce contractual, financial, and disclosure considerations that can significantly impact a transaction.
This course focuses on real-world scenarios involving residential solar installations, using practical case studies from both listing and buyer representation perspectives. Participants will examine how different solar ownership structures influence contract terms, negotiations, financing, disclosures, and overall risk management.
With a strong emphasis on compliance with TREC rules and Texas law, this course equips license holders to protect their clients, avoid common transaction pitfalls, and address solar-related challenges before they disrupt a sale.
