Understanding the Professionals in a Real Estate Transaction
A real estate transaction involves many moving parts and many professionals. Each plays a specific role, and each contributes to the success of the transaction in a different way.
Real estate license holders often serve as the central point of contact for buyers and sellers. Because of this, it is important for agents to clearly understand and communicate the roles of the other professionals involved in the process. When clients understand who does what and why each role matters, transactions tend to move more smoothly and with fewer misunderstandings.
This course provides a practical overview of the key professionals involved in a real estate transaction, including inspectors, lenders, surveyors, appraisers, title companies, and others. By understanding how these roles fit together, license holders can better guide their clients, manage expectations, and reduce risk throughout the transaction.
