The goals of this course are to educate real estate professionals on the following: The real estate market research and valuation tools that consumers can access online. Teach the pros and cons of automated valuation models (AVM); how they obtain and calculate data and how MLS and RPR tools help real estate buyers and sellers make informed decisions. Train the real estate professional how to combine their specific expertise with MLS data, tools, and reports to benefit clients and customers before, during, and after the real estate transaction.

Having been involved in the real estate field since 1983, Candace Cooke’s experience includes real estate research and valuation of residential and commercial properties with an emphasis in residential appraisal, the management of both residential and commercial real estate, real estate development and construction and real property tax protest arbitration. Ms. Cooke has also actively listed and sold real estate in Central Texas. Ms. Cooke previously worked for several years as a contractor with the State of Texas in the assessment of appraisal districts with regards to school district funding. Ms. Cooke is both a certified general appraiser as well as a real estate broker in the State of Texas. Ms. Cooke is now dedicating a large portion of her time to the education of both real estate agents and appraisers.
